Day 1 : Tokyo
On arrival in Tokyo, you will be met by an English-speaking representative and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your time of arrival, the rest of the day is yours to start soaking up the local culture.
Day 2 : Tokyo
Enjoy a full day bus tour of Tokyo today enjoying all of the sights, inclusive of lunch and a cruise of the Tokyo Bay.
Day 3&4 : Tokyo
Start the day with a relaxing stroll around the classical landscapes of the Hamarikyu Gardens. Continue to the Meiji Shrine, a Shinto shrine dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his wife, Empress Shoken, before driving past the famous Shibuya Crossing. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure, before rejoining the group for dinner.
Day 5 : Tokyo to Hakone
Today you will be transferred by a private car and driver to Hakone. In the afternoon, embark on a half day sightseeing tour with your guide to explore stunning landscapes, soak in natural hot springs and uncover the treasures of this picturesque region. The tour can be tailored to your preferences, and it is a private tour using public transport.
Day 6 : Kyoto
Check out of your hotel and transfer independently to Odawara Station. Here you will board a bullet train to Kyoto. On arrival, make your own way to your hotel and check in for a 4 night stay.
Day 7 : Kyoto
A full day of Kyoto and Nara is included for you today. You’ll travel with your private guide via some public transportation to all of the main sights including the Golden Temple, Nijo Castle, Fushimi Inari Shrine, Nara Deer Park and Todaji Big Buddha Temple before arriving back at your Kyoto hotel.
Day 8&9 : Kyoto
Begin the day with a visit to Ryoanji Temple, home to Japan’s most famous Zen garden and the famous Kinkakuji Temple, known as the ‘Golden Pavilion’. Continue to Osaka, arriving in time for lunch in the vibrant Dotonbori district. Later, travel by bullet train to Hiroshima, a city that needs no introduction. End the day with a special Christmas dinner cruise on Hiroshima Bay.
Day 10-12 : Departure
Your package comes to an end today as you make your own way back to the airport. We can assist with your onward journey either within Japan or beyond.
