Australia's Annual Climate
Australia is a country of two climates; the north and the south.
The northern half is best to visit between the months between April and September. Expect lush sunny days that show the many natural landscapes and stunning beaches at their very best; take a dip in the ocean or set up your barbecue on the sand. Though the north half is more humid and has more rainfall from October to March, there is an abundance of wildlife and the rainforests and wetlands come to life.
The summer months, from December to February, bring sunny days and hot weather in the southern half of Australia. From March to May, the areas become busy with numerous festivals and a grape harvest that brings with it a bounty of beautiful wines. Winter is less busy for tourists, and the drop in temperature means it’s an ideal time for walking and hiking; Spring brings with it a hive of wildlife activity, perfect for nature enthusiasts.
