The journey starts along the scenic Atlantic seaboard coastal road as you pass the pristine beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay to see the 12 Apostles Peaks. Later, visit Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, home to ‘fynbos’and wild animals. Heading north to Paarl, the second tour stops at Anura Wine Estate for a cheese and wine tasting in the morning. Then the tour makes its way to Franschhoek, with a photo stop en route, at the Groot Drakenstein Prison where Nelson Mandela was released in February 1990. On the fourth day, the trip continues to Table Mountain, offering the best views of the city.
The last four nights are spent in the majestic Northern Drakensberg at the Thornybush Jackalberry Game Lodge. The luxury accommodation creates a restful ethnic ambiance in harmony with nature, providing a true sense of real beauty and warmth.
Finally, you will be transferred to Skukuza Airport to connect to your international flight.

Day 1 : UK - Cape Town

Day 2 : UK - Cape Town

Day 3 : Cape Point
Scheduled Full Day Cape Point Tour.
Drive along the scenic Atlantic seaboard coastal road as you pass the pristine beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay to see the 12 Apostles Peaks. We see Hout Bay and the Sentinel with an optional visit Seal Island (own account) or shop for souvenirs at the craft market at the harbor. Drive along Chapman’s Peak (if open). Visit Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, home to ‘fynbos’, wild animals (like Cape Mountain Zebra, baboons and several species of buck and birds). We’ll stop for lunch along the way (own account). Optional funicular to the lighthouse (Funicular for own account). Visit Boulders Beach to see the African penguins (own account). Drive through Simons Town and see False Bay and the Indian Ocean. Stop at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens before returning to your hotel.

Day 4 : Cape Winelands
Scheduled Full Day Winelands Tour.
Heading north to Paarl, your first stop this morning is at Anura Wine Estate for a cheese and wine tasting. Then the tour makes its way to Franschhoek, with a photo stop en route, at the Groot Drakenstein Prison where Nelson Mandela was released in Feb 1990. The village of Franschhoek nestled amongst the mountains, can easily be mistaken as being in Switzerland. After a short tour of the little town, a second wine tasting will take place in Franschhoek, followed by a lunch stop (optional – own account), and maybe a chance to try some of the fresh trout that Franschhoek is known for. After lunch, the tour continues over the Hells Hoogte Mountain Pass to Stellenbosch. It is easy to understand why Simon van der Stel decided to settle in a village amongst the mountains. The backdrop of the Hottentots Holland Mountains, the white gabled Cape Dutch homesteads and the oak-lined streets and lanes all blend in to give this place a charm that will not be forgotten. Time permitting; you will include a third wine tasting. Return to Cape Town with amazing photos and fond memories.

Day 5 : Table Mountain - Cape Town
Scheduled Half day City tour.
Table Mountain - Morning Peak Return - 1 ticket Per person.
The trip to the top is an outing in itself, as you are safely and gently transported from the lower cable station to the top of the mountain and vice versa.
The journey takes a little more than 5 minutes and the high-tech rotating cable car offers the best views of the city. There are trips up and down every 10 – 15 minutes and the cableway operates 7 days a week, with the first car heading up at 8h00. The departure time of the last car down depends on the time of the year, and varies between 18h30 and 21h30.
Once at the top, over 3500ft above the city, you will find a vast network of well-marked paths to explore as well as strategically positioned lookout points.
Day 6-9 : Thornybush Game Reserve
