Day 1 : Arrive Toronto

Upon arrival at Toronto’s International Airport transfer independently by limousine or taxi to your downtown hotel (transfer not included).

Day 2 : Niagara Falls Day Tour

Enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour through the scenic Niagara Peninsula to Niagara Falls. Highlights of the tour include a lunch buffet overlooking the falls, and the “Journey Behind the Falls” attraction. Continue on along River Road and the Niagara Gorge to the historic community of Niagara-on-the-Lake before returning to Toronto. (Lunch is included today)

Day 3 : Toronto to Montreal (Rail)

Mid morning transfer independently to Toronto’s Union Station to board your train to Montreal. VIA Rail’s Corridor Service is the quickest way to Montreal and allows you to see some of the countryside and other cities in this area of Canada as you spend 4 hrs relaxing in the comfort of Renaissance Class cars. Arrive at Montreal’s Central Station mid afternoon, the rest of the day is free for you to explore the second largest French speaking city in the world. (Lunch is included today)

Day 4 : Montreal City Tour

Today, enjoy a complete tour of the city, taking in over 200 points of interest, including a photo stop at the Notre Dame Basilica, St. Joseph’s Oratory, residential and financial districts, Old Montreal, French Quarter, outside view of Olympic Site, McGill University and a panoramic view from an observation point on top of Mt. Royal.

Day 5 : Quebec City Day Tour

Board the coach for a tour to Quebec City, the heart of French Canada. Nowhere else in North America is the appearance and atmosphere of an old-world city so present. Quebec City looks and feels very European, and the old section was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985. Qualified guides will help you discover the enchanting sights which are part of Quebec City’s history. During the tour several stops are suggested. Should you wish to visit different sites, you may want to get off and board at your convenience. This tour option offers you great flexibility.

Day 6 : Montreal to Halifax (Rail)

Spend the day at leisure sightseeing in Montreal before boarding VIA Rail to Halifax in the early evening. Overnight on VIA Rail. (Dinner is included today)

Day 7 : On-board VIA Rail, Arrive Halifax late afternoon

Continue your rail journey through the beautiful snowy landscapes of Eastern Canada. Following a late afternoon arrival in Halifax, transfer independently to your downtown hotel. (Breakfast & lunch included today)

Day 8 : Halifax

Your day is free to enjoy the sights of Halifax. This East Coast gem of a city is full of character, and colourful personalities. Stroll along the ocean front walking paths, check out the unique maritime architecture and the downtown shops. Continue your exploration with a stop at the Halifax Museum of Natural History. Discover the natural wonders of Nova Scotia all under one roof in the heart of Halifax.

Day 9 : Halifax

Conclude your East Coast adventure with the morning check-out from your Halifax hotel.
