Where have you visited?
I’ve been so fortunate to travel to many places including Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, India, USA (East and West Coast with a little deep south!), Australia, Barbados, Dubai, Maldives, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile. A little closer to home I’ve travelled to Denmark, Turkey, Slovenia, Portugal, Italy, Spain, Greece, Sweden, Belgium, Germany, Poland, France and The Netherlands!
Where’s been your favourite place?
This is too hard a question! As a continent, Asia is my favourite down to the variety of scenery, wildlife, and cultures you come across. Malaysia stood out massively, from the history of Malacca, the sandy beaches of Langkawi to the lush green hills of the Cameron Highlands. I also loved the buzz of Hong Kong, the bustling markets, views from Victoria Peak and Big Buddha over on Lantau Island – so much more than a city break!
Where’s next?
Unfortunately had two cancelled trips to Japan and South Korea… but 2025 is the year!
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I really enjoy a big hike when weather permits, can be hard in the winter but it will always be a part of every trip itinerary.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
