Your Itinerary
Day 1 : Mossel Bay
An early morning departure from Cape Town to Mossel Bay. Travel via Sir Lowry’s Pass to Cape Agulhas the most southern tip of Africa. From here you visit the historic town of Swellendam before continuing to Mossel Bay, from where the Garden Route extends to the Storms River in the east. Overnight in Mossel Bay.
Day 2 : Oudtshoorn
This morning, continue to Oudtshoorn, visit an ostrich farm for a guided tour. Enjoy a wine tasting at a local wine estate before setting off on a tour of the Cango Caves. Located in the Swartberg Mountains these Precambrian limestone formations are breathtaking.
Day 3 : Knysna
Journey to Knysna, the heart of the Garden Route. Enjoy a lagoon cruise to the Featherbed Nature Reserve (weather permitting). The afternoon is at leisure to explore the local arts and crafts or relax with a view of the lagoon and a plate of the famous Knysna oysters.
Day 4 : Knysna
Explore the natural beauty of the Knysna area. Visit the wet forest, the Garden of Eden, followed by a visit to Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary and the famous Eastern Head. Afternoon is at leisure.
Day 5 : Tsitsikamma
Travel to Plettenberg Bay, before visiting Birds of Eden sanctuary, home to over 220 species of birds. Continue to the Tsitsikamma National Park which encompasses a marine reserve and Storms River Mouth (weather permitting). This National Park incorporates 80km of rocky coastline with spectacular sea and landscapes.
Day 6 : Johannesburg
Head eastwards to Port Elizabeth for an onward flight to Johannesburg* where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to relax.
Day 7 : Johannesburg
Spend a full day exploring Soweto and surrounds. Visit the Apartheid Museum and the Hector Pieterson Memorial in Soweto. Continue to the Liliesleaf Heritage Site, once the nerve centre of the liberation movement and site of the police raid that formed the basis of the Rivonia Treason Trial.
Day 8 : Johannesburg

Day 9 : Kruger National Park
This morning you journey to your game lodge and enter Kruger National Park. Spend the afternoon game viewing in your closed touring vehicle. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 10 : Kruger National Park
Morning game viewing with a pre-packed breakfast followed by an afternoon game viewing, both activities are from the comfort of your touring vehicle. Optional open vehicle game games are available at an additional cost.
Day 11 : Kruger Park or sightseeing
Explore the Panorama Route, one of the most scenic routes in the region. Visit the 3rd largest canyon in the World, the Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes created by the confluence of the Blyde & Treur Rivers and the spectacular viewing site at God’s Window. Optional (own account) game drives are available, should you prefer not to join the Panorama Route tour.
Day 12 : Johannesburg
Your tour ends with a transfer to Johannesburg. Tour ends at approx. 2.30pm at O.R. Tambo International Airport.
