Visit the largest aquarium in the Southern Hemisphere, uShaka Marine World. Located on Durban’s Golden Mile you can explore the wonders of ocean life found in both the Indian and Atlantic oceans. 500 metres of underground viewing galleries extend through 4 wonderfully designed old ship wrecks enabling you to view the sea creatures’ natural habitat with descriptions and storyboards for all ages. On ground level enjoy indigenous landscaped gardens with views over the aquarium and a birds-eye view of the fish and sharks in the shallower exhibits. With a total of 30 indoor and outdoor themed exhibits your tour provides an insight into the weird and
fascinating marine life from South Africa’s coastline. The Africa themed Village walk is an open-air shopping mall with eateries and entertainment.
