Groot Bos is a luxury eco-reserve close to the Southern tip of Africa where two oceans collide, and the smallest of the world’s six floral kingdoms flourishes. Surrounded by mountains, forest and sea this reserve of 2500 hectares of botanical and wildlife treasures is a one of National Geographic Unique Lodges of the World and recipient of numerous awards. Overlooking Walker Bay, home to the Marine Big Five, the reserve contains 800 plant species of which 100 are endangered, 118 bird species and 29 mammal species.
