Pacific Resort Aitutaki

Pacific Resort Aitutaki

Our Rating

An intimate place where time is measured by the sun and moon - not clocks and watches. A member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Pacific Resort Aitutaki is on the main island of Aitutaki, a short stroll from the village of Amuri, and less than 3 miles from the airport. Located on the beachfront of 17 acres of tropical forest it faces west, offering spectacular sunset views, and featuring nearly half a mile of white sand beach with an all tide swimming lagoon.

Rooms: The resort offers an exclusive selection of 27 spacious beachfront rooms featuring Polynesian styling, large private verandahs, thatched roofs, polished wooden floors, colonial furnishings, marble bathrooms and king beds. Nestled into the beach fringe of a tropical forest each room is located to maximise privacy and views of the beach, lagoon and Pacific Ocean beyond. All rooms have air-conditioning, TV, CD player, safe, ceiling fan, minibar, hairdryer and beach shower.

Restaurants & Bars: The Rapae Bay Restaurant has wonderful views across the pool, beach and lagoon. The Black Rock Café is the beachfront bar.

Activities: Enjoy swimming, sunbathing, exploring rock pools, kayaking around the islands and its small islets, or head out for a spot of fishing (then dine on your catch for dinner!). Dive and snorkel the day away to discover all the lagoon has to offer. Hire a scooter and cruise into town or local villages for shopping and sightseeing, or kayak to a secluded cove and enjoy a romantic picnic for two.
