Day 1 : Auckland - Rotorua
Depart Auckland at 8am and journey south through the farming districts of the Waikato. At Waitomo Caves ride the underground river system through the Glow Worm Grotto with its millions of tiny lights. Entrance to the Caves and lunch are included. Rejoin the coach and follow the shores of Lake Rotorua to the city.
Day 2 : Rotorua
A morning sightseeing tour takes in Rotorua’s most popular sightseeing attractions and the city itself. The afternoon is at your leisure. In the evening attend a special Maori cultural evening, be entertained with traditional songs, dances and stories, whilst enjoying a traditional Hangi feast.
Day 3 : Rotorua - Auckland
This morning is free to continue exploring this thermal wonderland. Included in your package is admission to the Adult pools at the Polynesian spa, a spectacular area offering seven hot mineral pools with views of Lake Rotorua. (Admission can be used on day 2 or 3). This afternoon board the coach and journey through rolling hill country and lush farmlands arriving in Auckland at approximately 5pm.
