Our Rating

Huvafen Fushi is a pioneering island located in the stunning North Male Atoll. It is multi-award winning, and has even earnt a spot amongst the ‘Small Luxury Hotels Of The World’ group of hotels. The concept of the resort is ‘laid back luxury, with distinct Maldivian influence’.

With only 44 rooms, it’s small, private and intimate. You can actually walk around the island in 15 minutes. The bungalows and pavilions are located along palm-fringed beaches amongst the natural oasis. Guests enjoy complete seclusion in their accommodation, and each room features a private plunge pool. Each of the 44 bungalows have their own dedicated ‘Thakuru’ (butler) who is on call 24 hours a day. They are very stylish and sophisticated, providing its own oasis with a private deck and private freshwater pool. All the rooms feature an oversized bed, waterfall showers, large plasma TV’s, and Bose surround sound speakers controlled by the guests own iPad. The pavilion rooms are perfect for families, and the resort has a kids corner dedicated for those under 10 years old. They also have a teen ‘hangout zone’ with games consoles and pool table. The resort hosts an underwater spa – the first of it’s kind in the world, offering unique underwater treatment rooms. The underwater theme continues with private underwater dining, available for guests to book. They can even create a bespoke menu with the executive chef.

There is a house reef just 25 metres from the beach, and guests can enjoy snorkelling with friendly nurse sharks and turtles.
