Day 1 : UK - Calgary
Arrive in Calgary following your flight from the UK, a coach transfer is arranged for the two hour drive to the charming town of Banff where you’ll spend the next two nights surrounded by the peaks of the Canadian Rockies.
Day 2 : Banff
Today a tour of the surrounding mountains, lakes and waterfalls is arranged for you, visiting the most treasured spots of the Rockies through Banff and Yoho National Parks. The evening is free for you to sample the delights of busy Banff Avenue.
Day 3 : Rocky Mountaineer
This morning you will board the Rocky Mountaineer. A coach transfer will collect you and transfer you to Banff station. Once on board, let Rocky Mountaineer’s experienced hosts look after your every need, as you pass stunning scenery complete with a full breakfast and lunch service, and accompanying drinks. Towards the evening, you will arrive in Kamloops and be transferred to your overnight hotel arranged by Rocky Mountaineer.
Day 4 : Rocky Mountaineer
Rejoin the train this morning to continue through British Columbia, passing the Kamloops Lake where you may have the chance to spot some wildlife on the shoreline. This evening you’ll arrive in cosmopolitan Vancouver where you will be transferred by coach to your hotel for a two night stay.
Day 5 : Rocky Mountaineer
Included today is a hop on, hop off pass to make sure you see all of Vancouver’s sights including Stanley Park, the downtown area, shopping districts, Yaletown and Gastown. Make sure to hop off at Granville Island to explore Vancouver’s artisan shops and market-fresh foods. This evening, you may wish to explore the waterfront’s wealth of restaurants and bars for some of British Columbia’s best cuisine.
Day 6 : Whistler
Depart Vancouver today on your sightseeing transfer to Whistler. On the way, marvel at the dramatic coastal landscape and ride the awe-inspiring Sea to Sky Gondola with views of Howe Sound. On arrival into quaint Whistler, explore the village centre before checking in to your hotel.
Day 7 : Whistler
Today is a free day in Whistler for you to enjoy the last of the mountains before you return home.
Day 8 : Vancouver - UK
A coach transfer will take you from Whistler to Vancouver Airport, ahead of your return flight to the UK.
