Your Itinerary
Day 1&2 : Vancouver
On arrival in Vancouver make your way to your downtown hotel for a two night stay. Simply a city like no other, Vancouver effortlessly combines the excitement and energy of a modern city with the invigorating appeal of the great outdoors. It’s truly a “city of nature,” with stunning views of temperate rainforest and majestic peaks reflected on glass skyscrapers, sparkling with sophistication and energy, yet relaxed and laidback. Canada’s third-largest metropolitan centre, Vancouver has a thriving multicultural ambiance. The city is located in a spectacular setting with the Coast Mountains across Burrard Inlet to the north, and the waters of the Strait of Georgia to the west. It is easy to have an authentic experience and get to the heart of what makes this city so different. With vibrant neighbourhoods it doesn’t matter where you go, you’ll enjoy discovering the sights and simply wandering, dining and shopping. Check out neighbourhoods like the beachside West End area, Gastown’s hip streets and uber-hip Yaletown.
Day 3 : Whitehorse
Make your way to the airport for your flight to Whitehorse and take a complimentary shuttle to your hotel for a two night stay. At check-in, your Winter Clothing Package will be waiting for you. Take the remainder of the day to explore the local sights and sounds of this frontier city. In the evening, your local guide will pick you up at your hotel to venture out under the nightscape to view the dancing waves of colours painted across the sky on your first Aurora Borealis / Northern Lights excursion.
Day 4 : Whitehorse
A day free at leisure in Whitehorse. Explore this northern city on your own or take an optional dog sledding tour. Few cities in the world offer such rich access to pristine wilderness, yet still provide all the amenities of a modern metropolis. Whitehorse is the Yukon’s most cosmopolitan community, but has easy access to trails, rivers, lakes and mountains. Enjoy an evening Aurora Borealis viewing excursion.
Day 5&6 : Dawson City
Take a complimentary shuttle to Whitehorse Airport, board your morning flight to Dawson City where you are met by a representative and transferred to your hotel for a two night stay. Over the next two days, your guide will take you on several guided tours, including a City and Goldfields Tour, a visit to Dawson City Museum including admission, and a Dawson City Historic Walking Tour. In addition, each night will include a guided Northern Lights Viewing Tour.
Day 7 : Whitehorse
After a leisurely morning in Dawson City, you are transferred to the airport for your midday flight back to Whitehorse. Upon arrival in Whitehorse, take a complimentary shuttle to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to either further explore the city or enjoy the amenities of your hotel. Overnight in Whitehorse.
Day 8-9 : Whitehorse Departure - Arrive UK
Take a transfer to the airport in time to check in for your return flight to the UK.
