Your Itinerary
Day 1 : UK - Calgary - Banff
Arrive at Calgary Airport and collect your rental car before embarking on the drive to Banff with views of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Arrive in the charming mountain town of Banff for a 1 night stay.
Day 2 : Banff - Field
Today you’ll check out of your hotel in Banff, but make sure to spend some time looking around the museums, galleries and shops that line the picturesque Banff Avenue in this year-round resort town. Your drive today will take you to Field, at the centre of Yoho National Park, famed for crystalline lakes and towering waterfalls. Your accommodation tonight is Emerald Lake Lodge, set amongst pine trees overlooking the lake.
Day 3-4 : Revelstoke
After your two hour drive, you will arrive in Revelstoke, famed for downhill snow sports in the winter and sheer natural beauty year-round. Consider taking the ‘Meadows in the Sky’ Parkway for breathtaking views of Mount Revelstoke. Your accommodation here is for 2 nights.
Day 5-6 : Nelson
Nelson is nestled in the Kootenay Mountains, a charming and vibrant town renowned for its artistic community, outdoor adventures and lakeside setting. It is the perfect destination for those seeking a blend of culture and wilderness.
Day 7-8 : Kelowna
Located in the Okanagan Valley, you’ll spend 2 nights in Kelowna. Surrounded by provincial parks, pine forests, orchards and mountains, with more than 20 local vineyards offering tastings and wine tours, it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy BC’s home grown delights.
Day 9-10 : Osoyoos
Arrive in Osoyoos, British Columbia’s desert town. Experience Canada’s only desert landscape, and soak up the sun lakeside.
Day 11 : Sun Peaks
Spend the night in Sun Peaks this evening – a European style ski village with equally stunning scenery in the summer. It is the perfect stopover between the Rockies and Vancouver.
Day 12 : Harrison Hot Springs
Unwind in natural hot springs today, as your journey further through British Columbia. This tranquil location is perfect for hiking or renting a boat to explore Harrison Lake.
Day 13-15 : Whistler
Drive further north along the Sea to Sky Highway, winding past hiking trails, waterfalls and striking vistas. You’ll eventually arrive in Whistler, a village alive with activity in both the winter and summer months. The pedestrian village centre is perfect for visiting the lively bars and restaurants, and you wont struggle for amazing mountain views. Take some time to explore the indigenous cultures at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre, or ascend the mountains on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola.
Day 16-17 : Vancouver
Head south today, and return your rental car as you arrive into Vancouver, a city surrounded by the coast and the mountains. Over your 2 night stay, take some time to explore bustling Robson Street, the iconic Capilano Suspension bridge and the culinary delights that this multi-cultural location has to offer.
Day 18 : Vancouver - UK
Make your own way to Vancouver Airport by taxi or by train, before you depart with the memories of beautiful British Columbia.
