Day 1 : Calgary to Banff (72 miles)
Arrive Calgary, meet your transfer at either the airport or your hotel and take the short drive to Banff.
Day 2 : Banff to Heli Hiking Lodge
Depart Banff through Banff and Kootenay National Parks enroute to the Bugaboos Helipad. After lunch at the lodge, fly up for an afternoon of hiking or leisurely guided walks in some of the world’s most stunning mountains. Return to the lodge for après-hiking appetizers and relaxation. (light breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Day 3&4 : Heli Hiking
Set out by helicopter with your guide to spend the day exploring the variety of landscapes. You’ll be divided into groups according to the activity level and adventure you’ve chosen. Choose classic hiking, walking or one of the adventure trails such as the Sky ladder Via Ferrata and the Bugaboo Spires Glacier Trek. After a memorable day, return to the lodge for après-hiking appetizers and relaxation. (breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Day 5 : Banff
Shortly after breakfast, prepare for departure. Once everyone is down at the helipad, the ground transportation retraces the journey through Kootenay and Banff National Parks to Banff. (breakfast and packed lunch included).
Day 6 : Lake Louise (38 miles)
Collect your car and begin your road trip. Be sure to stop at Johnston Canyon and walk along the paved footpath to either the lower or upper waterfalls.
Day 7 : Jasper (129 miles)
Drive the Icefields Parkway today. Enroute to Jasper enjoy an Ice Explorer ride and the Glacier Skywalk (included). Overnight in Jasper.
Day 8 : Jasper
Today you can personalize your day by choosing 1 of 3 excursions: Maligne Lake Cruise (seasonal), Jasper River Float or Jasper Nature Walk.
Day 9 : Sun Peaks (276 miles)
Today’s drive takes you past Mount Robson, through the snowy peaks of the Monashee and Caribou Mountains. Overnight Sun Peaks Resort.
Day 10 : Vancouver
Continue west through Lillooet and along the Duffey Lake Road to Whistler and onto Vancouver. Your adventure comes to an end upon your arrival in Vancouver.
