By day, you’ll experience the history and culture of this unique northern community with a snowshoeing adventure, an exhilarating dog sled ride through the boreal forest, a tour of the local Itsanitaq Museum and more! This adventure includes an evening at Dan’s Diner, an exclusive culinary experience on the frozen banks of the Churchill River. Imagine dining under the northern lights in a remote culinary pop-up restaurant with panoramic windows and skylights to take in the entire northern sky.

Day 1 : UK - Arrive Winnipeg

On arrival at Winnipeg airport take an included transfer to your hotel in Winnipeg for a one-night stay.

Then, enjoy an evening meet and greet with your Frontiers North Interpretive Guide, where you will learn more about what your adventure in Manitoba holds.

Meals are not included.

Day 2 : Churchill adventure begins

Enjoy an early breakfast with your guide at the hotel and catch your flight from Winnipeg to Churchill.

In your Churchill and area tour, discover its local and historical points of interest, including the Polar Bear Holding Facility and Inukshuk.  After a delicious lunch, head over to the Itsanitaq Museum, which contains one of Canada's finest collections of Inuit carvings, kayaks and artefacts dating from pre-Dorset, Dorset, Thle, and moderns Inuit times.

Adventure into your evening forest excursion for the first aurora borealis-viewing opportunity! Overnight at Churchill hotel.

Day 3 : Snowshoe trek and the Dan's Diner culinary experience

This morning, visit Polar Bears International House, where you learn about polar bears, climate change and more. Then, the tour continues in the Interpretive Centre, to learn about how to support polar bear conservation efforts! After a nice lunch, it's time to enjoy an interpretive snowshoeing adventure through Chruchill's boreal forest. 

In the evening, journey by official Tundra Buggy® across the frozen Churchill River to Dan's Diner and experience regional cuisine in a pop-up restaurant, complete with skylights and panoramic windows for best northern lights-viewing opportunities. After fining beneath the northern lights, relax and enjoy the remarkable views with your fellow travellers.

Day 4 : Dog sledding and Thanadelthur Lounge

Today starts with a dog sledding excursion! Learn about Métis culture and the history of dog sledding in northern Canada.

In the evening, enjoy another very special northern lights experience. From the town of Churchill, travel again by official Tundra Buggy® across the frozen Churchill River, only this time it's to Frontiers North's Thanadelthur Lounge. Here, witness the northern lights from inside by peering out through the panoramic windows. You can also climb onto the roof-top observation deck for an unobstructed view.

Day 5 : Chruchill

Spend the last day in Churchill discovering the detailed and exciting wildlife dioramas and fur trade exhibits at the Parks Canada Visitor Centre and learn everything about the natural and historical Churchill region!

Then, head over to Churchill airport for an evening return flight to Winnipeg. Check into the Four Points by Sheraton hotel for your last night of the tour before returning home.
