Day 1 : Arrive Halifax

Upon arrival into Halifax make your own way to your hotel. This evening meet your fellow travel companions at a meet and greet.
Hotel for 2 nights: Cambridge Suites

Day 2 : South Shore Touring

Head to Peggy’s Cove today and enjoy breakfast overlooking one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world. Travel the South Shore and on to Lunenburg; enjoy a walking tour and visit the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic

Day 3 : Halifax - Charlottetown

Learn about the Mi’kmaq people at Millbrook Cultural & Heritage Centre and continue to Prince Edward Island.
Hotel for 2 nights: Rodd Charlottetown

Day 4 : Prince Edward Island Touring

This morning is at leisure. In the afternoon visit Anne of Green Gables Heritage Place and this evening enjoy a traditional hall-style lobster supper.

Day 5 : Charlottetown – Baddeck

Head to Cape Breton Island today, visit Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site before heading to Bras d’Or Lake .

Day 6 : Cabot Trail

Experience one of the most stunningly picturesque drives in North America today as you tour the Cabot Trail. Your day is complemented by a Whale Watching Boat Tour.

Day 7 : Baddeck - Port aux Basques

Visit the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site, afterwards, board the Marine Atlantic ferry for a relaxing overnight* crossing to Port aux Basques.

*The Marine Atlantic ferry schedule changes from year to year. As such, a day crossing may be necessary and in that case you would overnight in Port aux Basques.

Day 9 : Port aux Basques - Port au Choix

Board the ferry from St. Barbe to cross the Strait of Belle Isle to Labrador. Continue to Red Bay National Historic Site, where the Basques had a whaling station in the 16th century. Spend the night in Labrador.

Day 10 : L’Anse au Clair - St. Anthony

Return to Newfoundland and travel to L’Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site, the first cultural discovery in the world to receive recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 11 : St. Anthony - Cow Head

Enjoy a morning whale watching boat tour in St. Anthony before travelling to Cow Head in Gros Morne National Park. Hotel for 2 nights: Shallow Bay Motel

Day 12 : Gros Morne Touring

Discover why Gros Morne National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is truly one of the highlights of your trip with a scenic boat tour on Bonne Bay; be on the look-out for the bald eagles that frequent the deep waters of the fjord.

Day 13 : Cow Head - Deer Lake - Departure

Your tour ends this afternoon at Deer Lake Regional Airport. Please consider today’s driving distances before booking your onwards flight.
