Day 1 : Arrive Vancouver
On arrival make your way to your downtown hotel for a five-night stay.
Day 2 : Explore Vancouver
There’s lots to see and do in one of the world’s most liveable cities, from the totem poles in Stanley Park to the sights and smells of Granville Market; the charm of Gastown to the shops on Robson Street. Experience a different view from a cruise on the harbour or explore close by on the North Shore and take in magnificent mountain views. To ensure that you get the most from your stay we’ve included three sightseeing experiences.
Day 3 : 48 hour Vancouver hop-on, hop-off classic sightseeing pass
This flexible city tour offers up the highlights of downtown Vancouver including major attractions and scenic points of interest. Choose to Hop-Off at any of the 29 stops and Hop-On again to continue the tour. Take an up close and personal look at Vancouver’s urban oasis, Stanley Park, have lunch at Granville Island (not included), visit the historical Gastown or the trendy Yaletown, and don’t forget Robson Street to do a little shopping!
Highlights of the route include English Bay, Stanley Park, Granville Island, Yaletown, Gastown, Chinatown, Robson Street, and the Entertainment District.
Your Hop-On-Hop-Off ticket gives you access to the Hop-On, Hop-Off buses in the city for 48 Hours!
Day 4 : Vancouver Sewell's Sea Safari
This adventurous sea safari takes you on a cruise aboard a 30 foot rigidhull inflatable boat through Howe Sound, North America’s southernmost fjord, for a guided nature tour of coastal British Columbia. Experience wildlife up close as you pass through Pam Rocks, a harbour seal haulout where you can see harbour seals at play, and stop at a bird sanctuary to observe the diversity of marine birds including the bald eagle. Keep your eyes open for loons, herons, cormorants and dolphins as you head through the Strait of Georgia with its fantastic views of the Vancouver skyline, and see the spectacular waterfront mansions of West Vancouver, known as Millionaires’ Mile, on your return through Horseshoe Bay. Day 5 : Whistler and Sea to Sky Gondola Tour - Vancouver Return
This escape from the city is an ideal way to experience the natural wonders surrounding Vancouver and Whistler. Gaze out over ever-changing landscapes surrounding the Sea to Sky Highway, with scenic stops at the 335 metre Shannon Falls and ride up the awe-inspiring Sea to Sky Gondola with views of spectacular Howe Sound. Continuing the journey to Whistler, this world famous ski resort also hosted many 2010 Olympic outdoor sporting events. Spend an afternoon exploring eclectic downtown shops and cafes, hiking along nature trails, or relaxing and breathing in the fresh mountain air.
Day 6 : Depart Vancouver
Make your way to the airport in time to check in for your homeward flight
