Your Itinerary
Day 1&2 : Vancouver
On arrival in Vancouver airport make your way to your downtown hotel for a 2 night stay. This vibrant city offers many attractions such as Canada Place, Robson Street, Chinatown, historic Gastown, Stanley Park and Granville Market.
Day 3&4 : Whistler (76 miles)
Collect your rental car and head along the Sea-to-Sky highway to Whistler for a 2 night stay, stopping on the way to ride the Sea to Sky Gondola for fantastic views. This popular alpine village hosted the 2010 winter Olympics and you’ve a choice of sightseeing included – a guided lunch tour, canoe tour, guided bike tour or the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola.
Day 5&6 : Kelowna (260 miles)
A spectacular drive today offers breathtaking views of Joffre Glacier. On through Lillooet, famous from the gold rush days towards the sun and vineyards of Kelowna for a 2 night stay. Visit vineyards and sample fine wines on an included tour.
Day 7&8 : Yoho National Park (216 miles)
Today’s drive brings you to Field for a 2 night stay at Emerald Lake Lodge, set on the shore of Emerald lake. This is an area filled with gem-coloured glacial lakes and waterfalls, snow-covered peaks and dense forests.
Historic railroads, spiral tunnels within mountain sides and steep rock faces where mountain goats roam are just some of the sights to be seen.
Day 9 : Radium Hot Springs (105 miles)
Radium Hot Springs borders Kootenay National Park and the mighty Columbia River, home to dozens of golf courses and breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains.
Day 10 : Nelson (233 miles)
Surrounded by the Selkirk Mountains, set on the shores of Kootenay Lake and clustered with some 350 heritage buildings, Nelson’s storybook charm and stunning scenery create the quintessential small town setting. Perhaps enjoy an evening cruise on the S.S. Moyie paddle wheeler.
Day 11&12 : Osoyoos (162 miles)
Continue west to Osoyoos, Canada’s only desert town, for a 2 night stay. The grasslands and bald hills are an extension of the Sonoran Desert that runs as far south as Mexico and creeps north to form Canada’s only arid desert.
Day 13 : Vancouver Departure (247 miles)
Back through the Fraser Valley to Vancouver airport to drop off your car in time for your onward flight.
