Your Itinerary
Day 1-2 : Arrive Calgary
Upon arrival at Vancouver International Airport, pick up your rental car and make your way to your hotel in Field. The community of Field can be found at the centre of Yoho National Park in the Canadian Rockies. Famed for its crystalline lakes and towering waterfalls, Yoho National Park is a hotbed for outdoor enthusiasts of all persuasions.
Day 3-4 : Jasper
Today, drive to Jasper for a two nights stay.
Originally a railway town, Jasper’s unpretentious small-town charm has a timeless appeal. Surrounded by towering mountains, crystalline lakes, and abundant wildlife, it’s no wonder the national park is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. The town is the perfect base to explore Jasper National Park. Whether you want to relax and unwind, or find the perfect place to camp out under the stars, Jasper is the place to do it. There’s a plethora of activities to enjoy, from hiking and biking to horse riding to wildlife viewing. If you want to act as the locals do, head to a restaurant that serves up local game like bison.
Day 5-6 : Clearwater
Located in the heart of British Columbia and Wells Gray Country. Clearwater BC is the gateway to Wells Gray Provincial Park and is surrounded by the Trophy Mountains, Raft Peak, Grizzly Peak and Dunn Peak, this rural community is the place for all seasons.
Two nights stay.
Day 7 : Penticton
Today is time to drive to Penitcton for a one night stay.
Penticton, nestled in British Columbia's Okanagan Valley, is famed for its lakeside charm, wineries, and outdoor adventures, making it a picturesque destination.
Day 8 : Vancouver
Stay one night in Vancouver. You will have the entire day to tour Vancouver and the surrounding area. Simply a city like no other, Vancouver effortlessly combines the excitement and energy of a modern city with the invigorating appeal of the great outdoors. From spring's abundance of cherry blossoms and summer's sparkling waterfront days, through to the city's fall cultural festivals and the snowy winter wonderland on the mountain peaks, Vancouver offers its visitors year-round adventures in this laidback urban metropolis right on the edge of a spectacular natural landscape. Explore diverse neighbourhoods, decadent dining, outdoor pursuits and multicultural attractions - in Vancouver, you won't have to choose between city and nature.
Day 9 : Campbell River
The day is at your leisure. Accommodation for the first night of your Knight Inlet Lodge package will be at Comfort Inn & Suites in Campbell River.
Day 10-11 : Knight Inlet
Take your floatplane Transfer: Campbell River to Knight Inlet lodge for a two nights stay.
Bear Viewing at Knight Inlet
Once settled in at the lodge, and following a brief orientation, you will embark on a small boat excursion in the estuary. Two 2-hour tours follow in the afternoon; one of these tours is a bearviewing tour (by boat in the spring and summer and on a viewing platform from late August to October), and the other will be a Knight Inlet sightseeing cruise. You will be accompanied on all excursions by a knowledgeable guide trained in the local wildlife and natural history of the area. In the evening relax in the lounge while enjoying an interpretive presentation by one of the guides.
Day 12 : Vancouver Departure
Today is the end of your tour. Time to check in at Vancouver International Airport for your departure flight.
