Your Itinerary
Day 1 : Whistler
On arrival at Vancouver International Airport, you will be transferred to from Whistler, for a one night stay.
Whistler, nestled in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, is a premier year-round destination. Renowned for its world-class ski slopes, vibrant village life, and outdoor adventures, Whistler captivates visitors with its breathtaking scenery, making it a haven for both thrill-seekers and nature enthusiasts.
Day 2-3 : Vancouver
You will be transferred to Vancouver for a two nights stay.
Simply a city like no other, Vancouver effortlessly combines the excitement and energy of a modern city with the invigorating appeal of the great outdoors. From spring's abundance of cherry blossoms and summer's sparkling waterfront days, through to the city's fall cultural festivals and the snowy winter wonderland on the mountain peaks, Vancouver offers its visitors year-round adventures in this laidback urban metropolis right on the edge of a spectacular natural landscape. Explore diverse neighbourhoods, decadent dining, outdoor pursuits and multicultural attractions - in Vancouver, you won't have to choose between city and nature.

This flexible Dual Pass combination of the City and Park routes offers all the highlights of downtown Vancouver, including major attractions, and scenic points of interest. Choose to hop-off at any of the 28 stops, and hop-on again to continue the tour. Be sure to enjoy the incredible views from the top of the Harbour Centre Tower (admission to tower included).
Day 4 : Vancouver - Rocky Mountaineer - Kamloops
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. On today’s journey you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser River valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade mountains, to the desert-like environment of the interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake and into Kamloops.

Day 5 : Kamloops - Rocky Mountaineer - Banff
Your journey continues eastwards to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Once again you will see a spectacular array of scenery as you travel across ranch lands, along rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes and through the remarkable tunnels that form part of the rich rail history of the Canadian Rockies. Today’s highlights include Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, the climb over Rogers Pass, the Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels and, of course, the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Your rail journey ends in the resort town of Banff.
On arrival to Banff, you will enjoy a 2 nights stay.
You can see the foothills of the Rockies, snow-capped and glistening, as you leave Calgary and as you enter Canada’s very first national park you’ll come across Banff, an all year-round resort town set at the side of the Bow River and surrounded by the magnificent splendour of the Rocky Mountains. Visit the museums and galleries, Cave and Basin National Historic Site or stroll along Banff Avenue; enjoy the shopping, the restaurants and bars, and in winter, the après ski. Banff is also the perfect base to explore from - visit Lake Louise or Moraine Lake and in the Winter, you’ll find the best value ski accommodation in the Rockies.
Day 5 : Banff
Enjoy a Freedom of Choice Sightseeing activity this morning. You may wish to join the Banff Experience tour, which includes sightseeing with a local guide and a visit to the Cave and Basin National Historic Site. Alternatively, ride the Banff Gondola to the summit of Sulphur Mountain for views of the park or take to the skies on a heli-flightseeing trip. You may also choose to enjoy a float trip along the Bow River. Perhaps you would prefer to take a tour of the Canmore Eagles’ dressing room. Try on the team’s gear and step onto the ice to experience a day in the life of a Canadian ice hockey player. Last, but not least, why not simply relax at the Willow Stream Spa. For dinner, choose from one of your hotel’s many restaurants. Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 6 : Banff
Today, you have two tours included:
Banff Gondola
A breathtaking ascent to the pinnacle of Sulphur Mountain for an awe-inspiring 360- degree panorama of sheer mountain majesty. Enjoy the interpretative hiking trails that lead along the ridge of the mountain. After an invigorating hike why not enjoy one of the two excellent restaurants at the summit.
Discover Lake Louise & Moraine Lake
On this afternoon sightseeing tour you will visit the "Jewel of the Canadian Rockies," Lake Louise and the world renowned Moraine Lake. Both are a part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site and you will have time to take photos of their shorelines. Learn our mountaineering history and how a tragic accident at Lake Louise shaped Canadian Mountain Culture. Finally, walk to the viewpoint in the Valley of Ten Peaks overlooking Moraine Lake.
Day 7-8 : Calgary - Arrive UK
You will be dropped at the airport to check in for your homeward flight.
