You’ll have a rare opportunity for a safe and exciting marine adventure; one never knows from day-to-day or trip-to-trip what will be seen, b ut your curiosity will be satisfied with a Fundy Tide Runners whale watching adventure. Be sure to bring sunscreen, binoculars, warm footwear, long pants, a warm sweater, a camera and extra batteries – you’ll want to take lots of pictures!

Newfoundland and Labrador: Iceberg Watch Cruise

Situated in the heart of iceberg alley, Twillingate Adventure Tours will introduce you to icebergs, whales, sunsets and many other spectacular views that the beautiful island of Twillingate has to offer. The Twillingate region contains some of the most unique attractions in the world. Starting in late spring - often lasting until mid-summer - massive sized icebergs are common sightings along the coast, which sometimes float right into the harbours. Grab your camera and head out on the ocean; you will have so many opportunities to capture beautiful coastal imagery or just to relax and take in the refreshing salty air. You may even have the chance to visit many of the scenic, sheltered bays where you can try your luck at catching cod (when in season – approx Jul – early Sep), which was once a staple for Newfoundland’s economy and its people.

Nova Scotia: Peggy’s Cove Tour

Peggy’s Cove has been an artist and explorer’s paradise for well over 150 years, and it’s not hard to see why. This picture-perfect postcard village, on the rugged Atlantic shoreline, stands on solid granite rock above the crashing surf. The lighthouse is the most photographed lighthouse in Canada; once you’re there you’ll understand why. On this day tour you’ll enjoy some free time exploring the stunning natural beauty of the area: the rocks, the trails, the village and the gift shops. The restaurants and cafés in the area also offer the freshest Nova Scotian seafood - lobster is the specialty, but don't miss a feed of mussels or a meal featuring the wonderful fresh St Margaret's Bay haddock.

Prince Edward Island (PEI): Island Drives & Anne of Green Gables

On this tour you’ll experience history, beautiful scenery and the quaint charm of Atlantic Canada; what’s not to love? View rolling farmlands, stunning seascapes, tiny villages and bustling harbours along the Green Gables Shore as you get ready to tour the North Shore area. You’ll have brief photo stops along the way at picturesque little fishing villages, lighthouses and the world-class PEI National Park – Cavendish Beach. Included on your tour is a visit to Green Gables House; this old farm site inspired L.M. Montgomery’s first novel, Anne of Green Gables, which was published in 1908 and has become a worldwide classic. Another must-see attraction you’ll get to visit is the Prince Edward Island Preserve Company, located in one of Canada’s prettiest villages. The company uses locally grown fruit to make delicious jams and marmalades which you’ll get to sample, and why not take some home with you?
