The Sandpiper
The Sandpiper is an exclusive, family owned hotel which is tucked away on St James beach on the famous West Coast of Barbados. Guests can also enjoy the facilities at its nearby sister hotel, Coral Reef Club, which is home one of the most popular and sought-after restaurants on the island.
Being small and family owned means that attention to detail is second to none. Whilst offering a high standard of service, the hotel still manages to keep hold of its Caribbean charm and style.
Guests will enjoy being in an intimate hideaway, but also being in a setting so close to Holetown should they wish to go out and explore.
The rooms are set amongst a tropical backdrop of swaying coconut trees, orchid trees, and colourful bougainvillea. You can wonder through the gardens, past the relaxing koi ponds, down to the powder soft white sand beach with glistening turquoise waters.
Guests can enjoy water sports at the Sandpiper and can snorkel in the warm Caribbean Sea along the nearby coral reef.
The hotel also has regular evening entertainment including barbecues and a weekly cocktail party complete with traditional steelpan music.
