Your Itinerary
Day 1-2 : Arrive Sydney
On arrival in Sydney, you will be transferred from the airport to your hotel by private car.
Day 3 : Sydney
Enjoy a morning tour of the major Sydney sights including the chance to take the iconic photo of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge before heading out to Bondi Beach. Return in time to join a cruise on Sydney harbour then the rest of the day is free.
Day 4-5 : Sydney
Two full days for you to explore this wonderful city. Enjoy Sydney’s natural beauty, from unspoilt beaches to public gardens and, of course, the sparkling harbour, as well as its thriving restaurants and markets.
Day 6 : Sydney - Ayers Rock
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Ayers Rock (*not included). On arrival transfer to your hotel; the remainder of the day is free.
Day 7 : Ayers Rock
Rise early to travel to the Uluru sunrise viewing area and watch the first rays of the sun set the Red Centre alight. Then travel to the mystical 36 domes of Kata Tjuta and Walpa Gorge. The sandstone domes of Kata Tjuta are believed to be around 500 million years old. Spend some time exploring the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations before returning to Ayers Rock Resort.This afternoon tour around the base of Uluru, travel to the Kuniya Walk and see the beautiful Mutitjulu Waterhole. View Aboriginal rock paintings and learn about the Aboriginal and European history of Uluru. Visit the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Continue to the Uluru sunset viewing area to witness and photograph the striking colour changes of Uluru at sunset whilst enjoying nibbles and a glass of wine.
Day 8 : Ayers Rock – Port Douglas
A shuttle transfer is included from your hotel to Ayers Rock airport for your flight to Cairns (airfare not included). On arrival in Cairns, a transfer will be provided to your hotel in Port Douglas. The remainder of the day is free.
Day 9 : Reef Cruise
You will be collected from your hotel and transferred to the Port Douglas Marina to board your 30 metre luxury sailing catamaran, Wavedancer. Your cruise is to Low Isles, an idyllic, unspoilt coral island that is a secluded tropical paradise! The wide, sandy beach and clear, calm lagoon waters are ideal for swimming and snorkelling. You will be transferred back to your hotel at the end of your cruise.
Day 10 : Kuranda Excursion
Experience the contrast of the region’s oldest railway and the world’s most beautiful Cableway. Tjapukai is your first stop and includes lunch plus an Indigenous guide for the morning as you explore and learn about aboriginal culture. Then board Skyrail for your journey across the rainforest canopy before spending some free time in pretty Kuranda. Return through the rainforest aboard the famous Kuranda Scenic Railway.
Day 11 : Port Douglas Free day
A free day to relax, shop or perhaps take an optional tour or cruise. Port Douglas is the only place on Earth where two World Heritage listed jewels exist; the Great Barrier Reef and the rainforest of Daintree and Cape Tribulation. Refresh and revitalise in the aquamarine reef waters of the Coral Sea, the crystal creeks of Mossman Gorge and the palm fringed golden sands of Port Douglas’ Four Mile Beach.
Day 12-13 : Port Douglas departure
Your tour ends with a shuttle transfer from your hotel to Cairns Airport.
