Your Itinerary
Day 1 : Sydney
Check in to your Sydney hotel and then enjoy the rest of the day exploring this vibrant city. Perhaps head for the Rocks or Darling Harbour this evening.
Hotel for 2 nights: Sydney Boulevard Hotel
Day 2 : Sydney sightseeing
See the unforgettable sights and sounds of Sydney this morning on a small group tour. Gaze at the iconic Opera House, learn about the convict history of The Rocks, check out the elegant area of Paddington with its terrace houses, and stroll along the famous Bondi Beach before returning to Sydney, where en route you will be taken to a lookout point to absorb unsurpassed views of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. The afternoon and evening are free for you to enjoy Sydney on your own.
Day 3 : Sydney – Blue Mountains (50 miles)
Collect your motorhome and head west towards the stunning Blue Mountains national park with its Sandstone cliffs, canyons and dense eucalyptus forest. Quaint Katoomba retains a relaxed rural charm amidst stunning scenery
Day 4 : Blue Mountains - Hunter Valley (93 miles)
Continue north towards the Hunter Valley, one of Australia’s oldest and most important wine regions. You’ll have plenty of time in the afternoon to begin your exploration of the region’s many vineyards; an activity which can be enjoyed by car, bicycle or horse-drawn carriage.
Day 5 : Hunter Valley
Enjoy a full day at leisure for further exploration of Hunter Valley’s wineries, or piece together a delicious picnic lunch visiting the local growers and gourmet food producers to buy the ingredients. Don’t miss the chance to visit the beautiful Hunter Valley Gardens.
Day 6 : Hunter Valley - Port Macquarie (170 miles)
Follow the white sand coastline north to Port Macquarie, where you’ll find sandy beaches, hidden coves and rocky headlands.
Day 7 : Port Macquarie - Coffs Harbour (100 miles)
Follow the coast past Nambucca Heads to Coffs Harbour, the start of the sub-tropical New South Wales and where the mountains of the Great Dividing Range seem to fall almost directly into the Pacifi c Ocean.
Day 8-9 : Coffs Harbour
Two days to relax and enjoy the beaches and water based activities of the “Big Banana”
Day 10 : Coffs Harbour - Byron Bay (155 miles)
Byron Bay is a popular for surfing and other water based activities, as well as its stunning beaches. Head for the lighthouse on the rocky promontory of Cape Byron, which marks the easternmost point of the Australian mainland.
Day 11 : Byron Bay
A day to enjoy the water sports or laze on the beach.
Day 12 : Byron Bay – Gold Coast (70 miles)
The popular holiday playground of the Gold Coast is a great place to learn to surf, plus there’s shopping, a vibrant nightlife, and nearby theme parks including Warner Bros. Movie World, Dream World, Sea World and Wet ‘n’ Wild.
Day 13-14 : Gold Coast
Two days to enjoy the attractions of the area.
Day 15 : Gold Coast - Brisbane (49 miles)
Head north to Brisbane and return you motorhome.
