Your Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrive Launceston
Transfer to your hotel and begin with a drive through picturesque farmland and vineyards following the Tamar River. Visit the gold mining town of Beaconsfield and take a guided tour of the Mine and Heritage Centre. Enjoy a welcome dinner this evening.
Day 2 : Launceston - Freycinet National Park - Bicheno
Explore the scenic wine-producing area of northern Tasmania and visit Bridestowe Lavender Estate. Cross Weldborough Pass and stop at East Coast Natureworld to see Tasmanian Devils. Continue to Freycinet National Park for a guided walk, then on to Bicheno.

Day 3 : Bicheno - Hobart
Discover the historic heart of Tasmania at Campbell Town and Ross. Head south to Richmond, home to the oldest bridge in Australia and then continue to Hobart.

Day 4 : Port Arthur Historic Site - Hobart
Visit Port Arthur, once Australia’s most notorious convict prison. Join a cruise around the Isle of the Dead to hear haunting stories about the convicts that were buried there. Enjoy a Taste of Australian dinner tonight.
Day 5 : Hobart
Enjoy a sightseeing tour today; taking you to Salamanca Place, Constitution Dock and the beautiful harbour area. Later, visit the Salamanca Market. The iconic market is a celebration of Tasmania’s unique culture, creative artisans and talented musicians. With the historic Georgian sandstone buildings of Salamanca Place as its backdrop, this picturesque market is a favourite for locals and visitors alike.
Day 6 : Hobart - Strahan
Explore Russell Falls, the jewel in the crown of Mt. Field National Park and then continue to the pristine World Heritage-listed Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. Travel to the town of Strahan and enjoy a buffet dinner at View 42° Restaurant and Bar.

Day 7 : Strahan - River Cruise - Cradle Mountain
Cruise Macquarie Harbour and enter the Franklin- Gordon Wild Rivers National Park. Continue to Tasmania’s World Heritage-listed Sarah Island then cruise past Hell’s Gate, before returning to Strahan. Drive to mesmerising Cradle Mountain and encounter Tasmanian nature at its finest.

Day 8 : Cradle Mountain - Smithton
Take in the beauty and serenity of Cradle Mountain - Lake St Clair National Park today. Visit Waldheim Chalet and be mesmerised by glorious Dove Lake. Then travel to Stanley, set in the shadow of The Nut - a rocky outcrop rising 137 metres above the sea. Continue to Smithton and enjoy a relaxing dinner with your fellow travellers at the Tall Timbers Hotel.

Day 9 : Smithton - Launceston
Tour the House of Anvers Chocolate Factory before travelling to the Great Lakes Plateau, then continue to Launceston where you’ll enjoy a special Farewell Dinner tonight.

Day 10 : Cataract Gorge & Tamar River Cruise, depart Launceston
