Carlisle Bay
A member of Leading Hotels of the World, guests arrive at Carlisle Bay via a torch lined jetty. The resort has been recently refurbished and offers a modern and understated style, whilst embracing the natural beauty that Antigua has to offer. It is situated perfectly between the rainforest and the soft sands.
The resort has just 87 bright and spacious suites with a balcony or terrace, set in blocks in the garden or on the beach. Garden and Ocean Suites can be interconnecting, ideal for larger groups. For couples, the adults-only Bay Suites make the perfect romantic getaway.
The crescent shaped beach is split into two sections, a quieter adult’s area, and a family friendly area closer to the non-motorised water sports including kayaking and sailing, paddle boarding. The more active can enjoy mountain biking, yoga, pilates, or tennis, with lessons available with the resident pro. For avid golfers, there are two golf clubs nearby, Jolly Harbour and Cedar Valley.
The highly acclaimed Cool Kids Club is available for children from six months to late teens. Programmes are individually tailored to each age group to ensure that memories are made.
Guests can enjoy sunset cocktails on the beach or a drink at any of the four bars and lounges. There are also four different restaurants to choose from, and the cuisine is renowned across the island for its home grown tastes as well as flavours from around the world.

Restaurants and Bars
Carlisle Bay has four of the best restaurants in the Caribbean - Indigo on the Beach, East, Ottimo! and The Jetty Grill. Between them, they offer a wide variety of dining options for holidaymakers and local foodies.
Indigo on the Beach
Set on the shore, Indigo on the Beach is open all day and offers a Caribbean influenced menu featuring grills, seafood and salads. Beach barbeques are served once a week and are a fun night of live music and fabulous food.
East
East is a striking restaurant with intricately carved wooden doors - a beautiful spot for dinner. The pan-Asian menu is unique amongst restaurants in Antigua and focuses on the cuisines from Indonesia, Japan and Thailand. OTTIMO! Ottimo! is a poolside retreat for lazy Italian lunches. Authentic antipasti, pizzas from the woodburning oven and home-made gelato taste great in the sunshine.
The Jetty Grill
The Jetty Grill is an adults-only restaurant located adjacent to the beach. Grilled meats and fresh seafood are daily favourites at this casual venue overlooking the resort’s Jetty and Caribbean Sea. It’s not just the restaurants though... there are three fabulous bars for sundowners on the beach or rum cocktails by the pool, daily afternoon tea and many private dining options from candlelit dinner for two on the jetty to parties in Coconut Grove.
